Shanda Plock graduated from Scripps College in 1991 with a degree in Art History and received her Masters in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of Denver in 2000.  After Scripps and while studying at DU, Shanda worked at several museums including the Children’s Museum of Denver, The Denver Art Museum, The Museum of Outdoor Arts, and the Denver Botanic Gardens.  Later, she began teaching Art History and Art Appreciation at Community College of Denver and Red Rocks Community College and participated on the Board of DUArt!   While teaching at the Community College of Aurora, she worked on curriculum, won an Adjunct Teacher of the Year award, and was the Director of the Donna Moravec Gallery.  Shanda has also worked with 40West Arts District as an educational contributor, guest juror, and curator. She returned to teaching at Front Range Community College in 2020 and is the Executive Director and archivist for The Hanzon Foundation.
